Dr. Shirley Elzinga is formally trained as a nurse anesthetist, and became a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Licensed Acupuncturist in 1990 when she began an alternative health care and sports medicine clinic that quickly evolved into the Preventive Medicine Clinic of Beverly Hills. She is a renowned international lecturer to physicians teaching the art and science of diagnosing, treating, monitoring, and adjusting natural hormones for men and women. She has developed pharmacies specializing in compounding bio-identical hormones in Los Angeles, Culver City, New York, and Malaysia. Dr. Elzinga is committed to the management of healthy living and aging.

Dr. Steven J. Marcus received his M.D. from George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington D.C. In 1978, he began his private practice in Beverly Hills after completing his Internship and Residency at Los Angeles County - U.S.C. Medical Center. A board certified physician, Dr. Marcus has been Attending Physician at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles since 1978 and has served as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the committees for Risk Management, Quality Assurance and Peer Review. Dr. Marcus is also very active in the charity HELPS International, participating in volunteer missions to Central America. In January of 2012, he joined Dr. Elzinga at PMC and is additionally Medical Director of Maria de Sio Skin Care.
